Keira Knightley admits she has lost touch with Sienna Miller since they filmed ‘The Edge Of Love’.
Keira, who played Vera Phillips in the Dylan Thomas biopic, revealed the pair have drifted apart, despite enjoying a close friendship on set.
She said: “I love Sienna, I think she’s a wonderful actress, but we’ve been like two passing ships in the night recently.
“I think that’s lovely but also sad about acting. You get incredibly close to people and as soon as it’s over you don’t see each other.
“I don’t think I’m very good at figuring out female friendships. I think they’re quite tricky to navigate.”
The 23-year-old star, Keira Knightley said she discusses her sex life with her mother, playwright Sharman Macdonald.
She added to Britain’s Glamour magazine: “Mum and I would always talk about sex. She’d come up to my room, have me roll her cigarettes and then tell me I’d have to have one with her.
“It’s not the typical mother-daughter thing but we’re extremely close.
“Mum’s a bit mental in a good way. She’s this chilled-out hippy mother. My house was always the one where my brother and his mates would be drinking when they shouldn’t be.”

Keira Knightley is determined to prove she is not dumb after dropping out of school at 17.
The British star, who is famed for portraying upper class characters in films like Pride and Prejudice and Atonement, suffers from dyslexia.
But she insists her learning disability and poor academia record only spurs her on more to show she is brainy.
She says, “It (dyslexia) makes me feel I am going to read absolutely everything so I can prove that I am not stupid.”
Knightley also admits that giving up university in favour of a film career has left her with a “chip on her shoulder” over her lack of education.
She adds, “I am completely uneducated. Not going to university did give me an incredible driving force because it leaves you with a slight chip on your shoulder.

Keira Knightley has refused to have any retouching done on her pictures for new movie The Duchess.
The actress posed for a series of publicity shots for the film but told friends she didn’t want her breasts digitally enhanced.
‘She has insisted that her figure stay in its natural state,’ a source tells the Mail On Sunday.
‘She is proud of her body and doesn’t want it altered.’
The Pirates Of The Caribbean star, 23, was famously retouched in the posters for 2004 film King Arthur.
Her bosom was made to look more voluptuous for the US market.
