The “Pirates of the Caribbean” chick and the “We Own the Night” babe chatted with the audience as part of the 5th International Rome Film Festival at Auditorium Parco Della Musica.

The 5th International Rome Film Festival opened today and is scheduled to run until November 5th in the historical Italian city.

Films from the United States, Mexico, Ireland, Denmark, Japan, Hong Kong, France, and Iran will be featured throughout the festival.

Never Let Me Go is based on the novel by Kazuo Ishiguro. It is a tale of friends who grow up at a boarding school together but don’t know about a dark secret that hovers over their future. The film is directed by Mark Romanek and will be released in January in the UK.

The starlet is getting ready for the premiere of her new film Never Let Me Go, based on the Kazuo Ishiguro’s novel, which is to open this year’s BFI London Film Festival, organizers said.

The “Pirates of the Caribbean” babe and her British beau looked to be enjoying themselves as they giggled their way past the paparazzi and had brunch at a bohemian café.

Clad in a black top, jeans and a black scarf, the “Atonement” actress partook in the usual post-show routine, greeting fans and posing for pictures before calling it a night.

The Pirates of the Caribbean star, who is currently appearing in The Misanthrope at the Comedy Theatre on Panton Street, London, was reportedly left petrified of Polish fan, Marek Daniluk, 41, after he waited outside the theatre where she was performing.

Daniluk, who is thought to suffer with mental health problems, allegedly grabbed the 24-year-old actress after one performance and asked whether she’d received his gift, to which she replied: ‘Yes, thank you.’

In her statement to police, Knightly said she had become ‘worried and distressed’ by his behaviour at the stage door.

Daniluk, of Enfield, North London, was arrested on Thursday night and appeared before the City of Westminster magistrates’ court on Saturday. He pleaded not guilty to the charge and will stand trial in June.
